I’m headed back (alone) to Boston on a whirlwind trip to take care of stuff at the condo, since we got some new tenants (hooray!). I’m sort of late in getting ready to leave, so in lieu of an actual update, I’d like to direct you to this:

  • Unity ‘08, a citizen-based movement attempting nothing less than to change the character of politics today, and
  • The excellent article where I heard of it.

My emotional gut reaction upon reading the article was “It’s about fucking time”, and I hope you agree.

It was a lot of fun and we saw some very beautiful trees and scenery. (Not to mention eating a delicious picnic lunch!) There are pictures here.

Lastly, I finally got our pictures of the Arches National Park online. They’re here.

Hope you’re all well! Jonathan’s on a business trip to Baltimore until Friday, so Jacob and I are “roughing it out” alone here. I’m looking forward to the quiet time we’ll undoubtedly spend together, although I wish I’d asked Jon where he put the charger for the camera batteries before he left. ;-)
